Which organisations may need GGL certification?
Depending on the applicable scope and market, certification may be relevant to agricultural or forest biomass sources, biomass producers, first collectors, processors, traders and other chain-of-custody operators.
Is every GGL activity covered by TRANS accreditation?
No. Certification can only be offered where the requested activity falls within the current accredited scope and applicable GGL requirements. TRANS confirms this during application review before quotation.
Can TRANS certify activities connected to Japan FIT/FIP?
TRANS is listed by GGL for FIT/FIP. Eligibility still depends on the organisation's activity, material, evidence and the applicable GGL module. These points are checked during scope review.
How long does certification take?
Timing depends on scope complexity, number and location of sites, supplier structure, audit readiness and closure of any findings. A proposed audit duration and schedule are provided after application review.
Where can I verify TRANS accreditation?
TRANS is listed by the Green Gold Label Foundation and the current RvA accreditation record is available under registration C698.
